Philips Hue gen 1 App Reviews

The much anticipated Hue App which will be released this Spring is expected to be colourful icon so those of us who purchased the gen 1 (non-home kit) kick ourselves why we didn’t wait 1 month more and NOT end up with the grey icon! AND … no further update for gen 1 owners!!! R.I.P.

whats wrong with you people!!! Have you lost all design perspective on color ?? Put back the old icon asap!!! Terrible design department !!!

New April 26th update works great, no issues, so far.

I love my Hue system!

Firstly, There should be a way to turn lights on and off and adjust brightness directly from the Apple Watch. Furthermore, you should be able to call lights the same name so that when you say hey Siri turn on the light in " " it can turn the on all the lights in that room. Lastly, The app is sometimes extremely slow and could take a couple of minutes before I can actually turn on my lights. At that point I just turn the switch on.... The whole point of buying these lights was to be more efficient and have the ability to control them with my devices.

Please update to replace the latest version today coz it crashes. I tried rebooting my iphone and reinstalled the app. They all didnt work.

This version crashes when it tries to connect to the hub.

Recent version doesnt recognize my iPhone is connected to home wifi any more...!

Do not update to this version. It includes a general bug for most of the users that cause the app to crash. Cant control Hue anymore.

It can not be opened either in my ipad air and iphone 5 after the update. Please fix this problem immediately!

At least Philips corrected the app quickly.

...at all. It crashes just after "connecting". Same behavior on iPad and on iPhone. Avoid upgrading.

I just wish there were an option to change the scene without having to switch off the scene currently running...
