Philips Hue gen 1 App Reviews

The app dont crush or at least not on my iPhone, I would like to see some UX design improvement and additional option of adjusting the tempo of lights to the rhythm of the music through microphone or at least make the lifes possible to dim and brightened with speed I choose. Plus it would be really useful if there was just one button that would collect all the lights in to one group when choosing a colour .

Hue light is good, bat app is work bed ! Fix problems please.

If you want to set alarm to the same time as yesterday, theres no way to do it. Lack of repeatable alarms.

The most ugly app ever. User experience and user interface are something from 199x. You guys should hire some design experts because this app is pain to use. The Hue lamps are great but this app renders them useless.

After update it doesnt work. The application crash after start.

Again without HomeKit support

After setting up HomeKit to work, Siris behaviour is very weird: it rarely understands commands (even those not related to HomeKit devices, like asking for weather forecasts or setting up an appointment) giving a very bad feedback.

also the hue bridge 2 has a lot of issues keep encountering bad connection between the app and the bridge keep disconnecting to the web apps and app also Siri works pretty bad general malfunction and issues I had factory reset several times and nothing change

Seriously. My 5 year old has no trouble working this app. I feel like the ones giving this app a low rating are the very same people who seek assistance in Drive-thru restaurants. The app is great, dont change a thing. I doubt you could make it any easier.

Still why...

Ive had the Phillips Hue for over a year and I was completely satisfied with the last version of the software, now with the new update, every time I launch the app my iphone cant find the bridge, I have to reset everything again. It is ridiculous.

While there is room for minor improvement. I think this is a great interface. Please continue to support gen 1. Gen 2 not so much.

I have had these lights since they came out, including this app, and it does everything that I could possibly imagine. There is a bit of a stall sometimes for the lights to change or to turn off, but I suspect thats my network and not the programming. The UI is soo 2010

This is a recipe... Light+color wheel+intensity. What this app provides... Pre-determined mixes, only 4, and intensity. Silly

Adding rooms would be nice. My most used app. I have rooms through a third party app and love it. I love telling Siri to turn my living room lights off.
