Good

Could have more functions

Amazing lights, not so amazing app

Limited features; unable to reset Scenes

Not worth it

I downloaded the app from the Apple Store using my iCloud account. The Philips hue app support does not recognize one my email or my password. So I cannot get support for Georgias fencing and other issues I am having. There are much better apps than this crap

Great

No problems so far, working great keep up the great work.

Geofencing doesnt work

Can anyone say their geofencing works? Jeff

No Groups after all this time?

Grouping lights is critical for many reasons, one being integration with IFTTT - without supporting groups natively, you cant access anything other than "All Lights" or individual lights, which means you have to create recipes for each individual light bulb you want to turn on and off for various reasons or preset conditions. This is basic stuff Philips. I dont want to turn every bloody light on, and I do t want to create 30 or more IFTTT recipes for every situation or room. It should be simple. For the love of all that is right in this world. Please add this a sap so proper group integration can happen. Other apps support it, but that doesnt help native hue integration with IFTTT for example.

Was getting better but needs a rewrite

The app was continually getting better, but now I think that it just needs a complete rewrite. Theres just too much going on and creating scenes isnt simple enough, nor is switching between Scenes, Lights, Timers, etc. It feels as if Philips is having programmers design the app instead of dedicated UI people. The technical foundations of a great app are there, but its missing the mark of greatness by a wide margin. I love the lights and they are reliable. The app mostly works, its just not user-centric. Thanks.

No blue. (A-19 starter kit)

"16 million colors"? Really ? THAT is a *lie* Philips. I can only get purple instead of blue.

HomeKit and Grouping of lights

I just got my new bridge.... Im so happy! Siri control of my lights is everything that I hoped for... Mostly Please allow the grouping of lights... I have multiple lights in single rooms like my chandler in my dining room that I would like to change all at the same time with Siri

Instant crash

Latest version of the app crashes immediately upon opening. Have been unable to control any lights for well over a month.

Buggy software.

Philips need to hire new programmers for their software. This is really buggy. Beware to those thinking of upgrading to homekit enabled bridge. First day of use and I already found a lot of bugs. First, when you have created scenes and even if they work, doesnt mean they will always work. A lot of my scenes suddenly stopped working and on the app, it says it cannot be exported because of too many lamps in a scene. I only had max of 5 lamps each scene!!! And these scene worked like three hours ago. Another one, if you have more than one apple device, and they all use one iCloud account, you will eventually get an error about the bridge being already paired up with another device. Resetting homekit settings on apple device wont work. Even logging out of your iCloud wont work either. Your only option, reset the bridge to factory settings and this will be a pain if you have more than 30 bulbs to reset up again which took me three hours today including all timers, alarms, ifttt integration and now I have to redo it all over again. If this happens again, this bulb starter kit with homekit is going back to bestbuy. Also where is the group functionality? You dont expect us to not have a group of lights? Its been years and this hasnt been implemented yet all other hue third party apps have them. If only those third party apps can be connected to ifttt then I wont have to use this app.

HomeKit not working

The HomeKit enabled hub has tons of bugs which I wasnt expecting. I cant get Siri voice control setup at all. It thinks the device is associated with another user. Resetting HomeKit doesnt fix it. Please fix this ASAP!

Siri Voice Control No Longer Works

My bridge was configured to use HomeKit and Siri Voice control with previous versions of the app. Now Siri control no longer works and the app cant find the bridge to configure HomeKit.

Waste of money

Ive had the Hue lights for years and always loved them. We recently bought the new bridge to use with HomeKit, however only one device can be the "admin" and has to share scenes with others. So say goodbye to your custom scenes if youre not the admin. Worst of all, the Siri function only works on the admins phone. Weve deleted the app, signed in and out, set the bridge up from scratch and still can only get it to work on the one phone. What a waste of time and money.

HUGE FLAW with this app and new bridge

Philips, I paid more money to upgrade to the new Bridge for HomeKit. Now I cant even use it! Siri doesnt recognize my lights and after about 10 minutes once Siri does... Oops all the sudden " I cant find any lights" the bridge should always be connected to the Internet because its hardwired in via Ethernet. I dont get why this is so hard to have a working bridge with the app and for Siri to recognize it. Please get an update fast for this! Also its a real let down that Siri can only remember so many scenes... It really limits your product and its not nice to see a company with such limited abilities in this technological age! Fix the HomeKit Bridge!!!!

Riddled with bugs

Scenes work, then dont. Data communicated to Siri is inconsistent, leads to error messages and most scenes becoming unusable. Illegible interface when current scene image is to clear. Amateurish UI. Geofencing cant work with 2 people or more: if 2 come back home at the same time, one will light up a scene and the other will shut it down immediately because the system as it is doesnt know if people are inbound or outbound. The hardware product is great and full of promises, but the software implementation is, in all honesty, a train wreck.

Does not work as advertised

Philips Hue is bugged up the Yahoo. Costs over $200 with tax, and I cant get Siri to turn on any lights. This is not a user error. Look it up online, everybody else using this is having issues with their Hue Bridge 2.0. If you try to sync multiple devices to your bridge on the same iCloud account, you essentially break your $200 investment. This bug has been going on for about 2 months with NO resolution!

Awesome

Im not going to give this app 5 stars yet but my HomeKit bridge works mint and I love turning lights on and off from my wrist. I had to download the "home" app but all in all, I couldnt be happier.

Money scam

Got the new bridge for the Siri feature and it doesnt even work. What a money grab that was, very disappointed.

Siri HomeKit doesnt always work

3 out of 5 times Siri will tell me she cant find any devices (lights) this is so buggy and useless.
